Want to know more? An in person interview is always free. In fact, I encourage parents to interview 2-3 at least doulas in order to find someone who is a perfect fit for them. You want someone who will put you at ease, with whom you can feel completely comfortable.

Before your interview, make a list of all the things you’re hoping a doula could be, as well as any fears you have about your birth and the things you would like to learn. Be sure to include any concerns or questions your partner might have in mind.
